CHURCH LOCATOR

The culture the Mennonites have created has both positive aspects and negative ones.

Here you will find some resources to hopefully help shed more light into a culture and belief system that can be complicated given the many different types of groups out there.

If you're seeking to join an Anabaptist church, these videos and

articles will better help you understand the different dynamics, and aid in your

journey to finding a group to fellowship with.

God bless as you seek His will for your life.

WHAT ARE MENNONITES
LIKE TODAY?

This is one of the most concise and accurate overviews of Mennonite Churches, (given by a non-Mennonite and complete with a chart 😀).

The different churches he mentioned are the larger conferences, however, there are many unaffiliated groups that fall into various different 'categories' as well.

What you should know

from our personal

perspective,

WELCOMING SEEKERS
PART 1

Ernest Eby discusses what he has learned through observing seekers as they enter and leave Anabaptist churches. He defines what

is meant by a seeker, and

addresses several issues that keep seekers out of churches.

WELCOMING SEEKERS
Part 2

In the previous episode, Anabaptist Perspectives published the first half of a conversation with Ernest Eby about welcoming seekers into churches. This video is a continuation of that conversation, giving specific pointers both to those who are in the process of choosing a church, and to churches who want to be welcoming to newcomers.

BIBLICAL MENNONITE
ALLIANCE

If you can find a BMA church near you, I think this would be a great group to consider, as you will find the culture easier to adapt to than more conservative groups.

FOLLOWERS
OF THE WAY

Technically don't call themselves Mennonite, but rather 'Kingdom Christians'. They also offer a culture that is easier to adapt into. Many people here excel in Academics and  Theology.  However, there aren't a lot of locations as they are a fairly new church group.

PILGRIM MENNONTITE

A conservative group, with more rules to follow (more culture shock); yet resulting in a stable, structured church. We appreciate them and their vision. Their website is excellent with many resources. (sermons, music, literature, etc.)
