BEING A FREE SPIRIT (is there hope for a routine?)

I have always struggled with staying scheduled and having a daily routine in my life. With a personality that tends to 'fly by the seat of my pants' so to speak, sticking to a routine is something I have tried multiple times and never fully succeeded in accomplishing.

As I am getting older, I am learning to accept more of who I am, while yet working at improving some of these glitches that came predownloaded in my hard drive. So instead of trying to hide these flaws, and only post perfect content to keep up with peers, I've decided to embrace the things that make up who I am, and be honest with the flaws I wish to improve upon.

So in today's video... I expose the embarrassing truth, that my son tends to be my alarm clock in the mornings, and I really have no daily schedule to speak of...

So welcome to a random day in the life of an imperfect, unscheduled, pregnant, Mennonite Mama.

What are your secrets to becoming

a more scheduled person when you are a Free Spirit?

Hey look I was the first commenter. It's like a private conversation here.

Your Garfield clip was hilarious! You do amazing video editing. For me being a non morning person it helps if I'll pre make breakfast items in advance. Or at least do the evening dishes before the next morning. No one wants to get out of bed and face a dirty kitchen.

Schedules and routines have come and gone for me when necessity arrises. I will say at that age my son had a bad attitude for the day when I wasn't up before him. But we also implemented a "stay quietly in your room till 7am" house rule. That way I could get up and not feel rushed with "mommy, mommy, mommy"

Now that we have dairy goats I do have a morning routine. And that son is a teenager that cooks a late breakfast for everyone after we get done with morning farm chores together.
